selection field. Every company appearing on our client list has
been advised by one of our principals. Each principal is
actively involved in consulting engagements. Profiles of WDGC’s
three owners follow:

Dennis J
Donovan
is responsible for worldwide
site selection services at Wadley-Donovan-Gutshaw
Consulting. The firm has been advising corporations on
office and industrial facilities location for 31 years.

K. John
Gutshaw has a long and distinguished track
record as an advisor to corporations on location strategy.
In his 30 years in the field, John has been a consistent
innovator bringing significant added value to his corporate
location clients.
John currently manages the worldwide, day-to-day operations
of Wadley Donovan Gutshaw Consulting which was previously
known as the Wadley-Donovan Group until 2004. The firm has
been consulting Fortune 500 corporations on office and
industrial location strategy since 1975.
Among John’s prime responsibilities are client relations,
quality assurance, ensuring that WDG Consulting clients
receive superior technical advice and significant
value-added insights, continuous service and process
improvement, and lending expertise to major strategic
location projects.
John began his location consulting career with Stone &
Webster in 1974. He became a founder of WDG
Consulting in 1976.
John enjoys long-term client relationships with a variety of
major companies. These include American Airlines, CIGNA,
Circuit City, Convergys, Fleet Financial, Scholastic
Publications, Host Marriott, Metris, Target, Option One,
Verizon, and West TeleServices.
He is a graduate of Clemson University where he earned a
bachelors in economics and masters in city/regional
planning. Reflecting his industry knowledge, John is
frequently quoted by the trade and general business media on
corporate location trends. He has also authored a number of
articles on various dynamics associated with business
mobility.

Katie S.
Burdorf directs branding, positioning, and marketing
for Wadley-Donovan-Gutshaw Consulting’s global site
selection practice. Katie has a 28 year track record in
location consulting. Before joining WDG Consulting in the
early 1990’s, she held consulting positions at three
location advisory firms.
