principals have a combined 100 years in the corporate site
selection field. Every company appearing on our client list has
been advised by one of our principals. Each principal is
actively involved in consulting engagements. Profiles of WDGC’s
three owners follow:

Dennis J
Donovan
is responsible for worldwide
site selection services at Wadley Donovan Gutshaw
Consulting. The firm has been advising corporations on
office and industrial facilities location for 39+ years.
At WDG Consulting, Dennis’ responsibilities include

K. John
Gutshaw has a long and distinguished track
record as an advisor to corporations on location strategy.
In his almost 37 years in the field, John has been a consistent
innovator bringing significant added value to his corporate
location clients.
Among John’s prime responsibilities are managing WDGC
consultants, performing office and industrial location
studies, presenting site selection recommendations to
clientelle, overseeing maintenance/expansion of WDGC's
proprietary database. fine tuning WDGC's models including
labor market saturation index, and crafting new decision
tools. John currently manages the worldwide day-to-day
operations of Wadley-Donovan-Gutshaw Consulting.
John began his location consulting career with Stone &
Webster in 1974. He became a principal at WDGC's predecessor
firm (JPW & Co in 1975) That firm evolved into WDGC by 1992
John enjoys long-term client relationships with a variety of
major companies. These include Avis, Bristol Meyers Squibb,
Cummins, ExxonMobil, FedEx Freight, Health Care Services
Corp (Blue Cross/Blue Shield in several states), Diver, FAA,
GEA Westfalia, CNA Insurance, Marriott, Target, T. Rowe
Price, Cannon/ITS and Verizon.
He is a graduate of Clemson University where he earned a
bachelors in economics and masters in city/regional
planning. Reflecting his industry knowledge, John is
frequently quoted by the trade and general business media on
corporate location trends. He has also authored a number of
articles on various dynamics associated with business
mobility.

Katie S.
Burdorf directs branding, positioning, and marketing
for Wadley Donovan Gutshaw Consulting’s global site
selection practice. Katie has a 35 year track record in
location consulting. Before joining WDG Consulting in the
early 1990’s, she held consulting positions at three
location advisory firms.
